We understand that your car is one of your largest investments, and that is why we treat every car as if it were our own. From the second you walk in the door, you will realize why Bates is a cut above the rest.

Once you’ve dropped off your car for repairs, we’ll help you get back on the road while the work is being performed. Bates Collision Centers is comitted to delivering a fast, friendly and hassle free repair experience, so we offer Hertz ON-SITE at each location. Schedule your appointment with Bates Collision Centers and we’ll contact Hertz to reserve your rental vehicle. If the repair is an insurance claim, Hertz will bill the insurance directly.

ON-SITE CAR RENTALS & TOWING

We can help with setting you up with a loaner vehicle while your car is in for repairs. We have on-site car rentals and work direclty with Hertz to make this as easy as possible. We will have your loaner vehicle ready to go when you drop off your vehicle for repairs and help get you on your way!

We also offer towing services to both of our locations! Just mention to the tow operator that you wish to take your damaged vehicle to Bates Collision Centers!

our repair process of diagnostic scanning

DIAGNOSTIC SCAN

Once you’ve dropped off your vehicle we begin the process of diagnosing the damage to your vehicle.

This begins with diagnostic scanning of your vehicle to find fault codes that indicate damaged components of your vehicle that need to be re-calibrated to restore your vehicle to pre-accident condition.

Our Repair Process report planning

REPAIR PLANNING

The unique estimating process at Bates provides many customer benefits.

The key to our repair process is what we call “BLUE PRINTING.” Instead of having an estimator look at a car in a parking lot and try to “guesstimate” the repair cost, we put the car up on a lift and have two of our most skilled technicians disassemble and examine all damaged areas to make sure that nothing is missed. The process takes a little longer, but we rarely miss damage. This means that all parts needed for the repair are ordered and received before we begin to repair the vehicle. This reduces delays and results in an overall quicker, more efficient repair.

Our Repair Process disassembly

DISSASSEMBLY

Once diagnostics have been completed, our technicians will disassemble the areas of your vehicle that are being repaired. We have to make sure to explore and address any areas of hidden damage beneath the surface to make sure your vehicle is restored to original safety and performance.

BODY REPAIR

Will your car “measure” up? It will if it is repaired at Bates Collision Centers! Investment in the best technology, equipment, and materials is the top priority at Bates. Our state-of-the-art frame repair equipment with computerized measuring system assures that your frame is restored to factory measurements. This system is so sophisticated that is reduces the entire results down to a single red or green light. To get the “green light” all frame dimensions must measure within original factory specifications. So when your car leaves it will truly “measure” up!

our repair process painting in booth

PAINTING

This is no ordinary body shop and this is no ordinary refinishing system. Bates employs an on-site computerized paint-mixing and color-matching system to achieve an invisible repair. The paint process is performed in our own state-of-the-art, climate controlled, down-draft spray booths. The paint is baked at 170 degrees, which reduces drying time from about 48 hours to about 45 minutes. The climate controlled environment means no delays from cold, wet weather. A virtually dust free paint environment and daylight corrective illumination both play important roles in our quest for an invisible repair. This high-tech booth also reduces pollution, protecting our environment.
